Racing Incidents
Jockey G. Vijay, the rider of PRINCELY GESTURE, reported that after passing the 400 Metres his mount was hanging out very badly and he had considerable difficulty in keeping it on an even course and his mount completed the race on the outer sand track. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination by the Club`s Veterinary Officer it was found to have sharp molars. Hence trainer Mr. S. Ravi Shanker was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence and also was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
