Racing Incidents
Jockey D.K. Ashish was declared to ride on two horses viz. PREMIER CONNECTION & NARA by Trainers Imtiaz A Sait and Nirad Karanjawalla. After questioning all concerned, Trainer Imtiaz A Sait has been fined Rs.1000/- for declaring a Jockey without his consent. Jockey I.Shaikh failed to inform the over-weight while accepting to ride LOTHARIO, due to which Trainer Narendra Lagad could not place his request for his Rider to carry over-weight as per the Calendar Notification. As such, Jockey I.Shaikh has been fined Rs.5000/- for his lapse.
