Racing Incidents
As Jockey Suraj Narredu was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 8th race, permission was granted to trainer Mr. V. Lokanath to substitute Jockey D.M. Grant to ride KICKINGKING in place of the declared rider. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.500/- for using wrong coloured cap in respect of his charge PARTY TONITE (S. Selvaraj). Subsequently it was rectified by changing to the correct coloured cap.
