Racing Incidents
At the request of Tr. Patrick Quinn b c ALPINE COUNT, a declared starter in the race, was examined by the Sr. Veterinary Officer in the saddling enclosure and was found to have a swelling on left hind. Under the circumstances the colt was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Patrick Quinn was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer. An enquiry has been opened into the late withdrawal of ALPINE COUNT.
