Racing Incidents
As Jockey Ahsan Qureshi was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey S. Selvaraj to ride PERFECT SPEED in place of the declared rider. WONDER LASH (A. Ashok Kumar) was extremely fractious on the way to the starting gates and prior to being loaded dislodged the rider and ran riderless. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter`s Order.
