Racing Incidents
Jockey B. Sreekanth, the rider of LEADING LADY, reported that his saddle shifted over the withers passing the 700 Metres and that he could not offer any assistance to his mount thereafter. After due examination of the equipment, trainer Mr. V. Narayana Gowda (deputizing for trainer Mr. V. Lokanath) was fined Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.
