Racing Incidents
An objection was lodged by Jockey P Kamlesh, the rider of DEBONAIRE GIRL, placed 3rd by the Judge against Jockey D K Ashish, the rider of IMPRESSIVE WISH placed 2nd by the Judge on the grounds of interference “in that in the last 800 metres the 2nd placed horse came onto me for which I got a severe check which cost me the 2nd place”. The Stewards after having interviewed the jockeys concerned, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and taking into consideration the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Stewards, resolved to over-rule the objection. The Judge’s placings remaining unaltered.
