Racing Incidents
An Objection was lodged by App.P.Trevor, the rider of SADDLERS RULE (placed second) against Jockey Dashrath Singh, the rider of KALINGA STAR (placed first). The reason being, in the final 200 metres, KALINGA STAR kept bumping him and taking him in and did not allow him to ride out or to use the whip freely. The Stewards having heard the evidence of the Jockeys concerned in conjunction with that of Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their observation of the incident, decided to uphold the Objection and revised the Order of Placing as under:
