Racing Incidents
An objection was lodged by Jockey P Kamlesh, the rider of SILKEN DANCER, placed 2nd by the Judge against Jockey Shailesh Shinde, the rider of GIOCOMETTI placed 1st by the Judge on the grounds of interference “in the last 400 metres the winner came on to me when I had to stop riding and lost a certain race”. The Stewards after having interviewed the jockeys concerned, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and taking into consideration the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Stewards, resolved to over-rule the objection. The Judge’s placings remaining unaltered.
