Racing Incidents
Jockey S.John (ASTOUNDING GALLOP) has been fined Rs.2000/- for shifting in before the Red Marker. Near 200 metres, BECKET (David Allan) shifted inwards and made contact with MR GREEDY (Y.S.Srinath). On questioning, Jockey David Allan explained that at that stage his mount was trying to go out and he had changed the whip hand and used it only once and his mount shifted inwards more than he had anticipated and he could not have reacted any better. As the incident was accidental, no action was initiated against the Jockey.
