Racing Incidents

Trainer Mr. B.K. Narendra was fined Rs.2,000/- for the inordinate delay in presenting his charge PRINCE ASHWIN (N. Ravinder Singh) to the paddock.
SADDLER (M J Gautam Raj Urs) sustained cut on right fore pastern.
Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b.g. PRINCE OF ARGYLE.

The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd, at their Meeting held on 15th June 2011 considered the analytical report received from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, pertaining to the analysis of the urine sample taken from b g PRINCE OF ARGYLE (trained by Mr. Vishal Yadav) which had shown the presence of Capsaicin - prohibited substance  the sample of which was taken after the said horse was placed First in the above race.

The Stewards noted the following : 

The trainer/owner were given the option of sending the split sample of the urine for confirmatory analysis. The trainer vide his letter dated 11TH June 2011 informed the Club that he did not wish to exercise the above option. 

Therefore, the Stewards decided to disqualify the horse b g PRINCE OF ARGYLE from the above race and revise the order of placings as under:
