Racing Incidents

 

FRIENDLY BOND (Ladjadj Stephane) jumped awkwardly inwards and bumped SWEET SURRENDER (N. Rajesh) which in turn passed it on to EAGLE CLAWS (P.S. Chouhan) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

ELUSIVE WAY (N. Ganesh) took a fly jump, hit the gates, swerved towards the left and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.

Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was questioned regarding the relatively poor performance of his charge LOCK AND LOAD and the reason for running it over 1200 Metres. The trainer stated that as he did not have a suitable distance for this horse in a race for the age group he opted to run in the above race as otherwise he had to wait for 3 more weeks. His explanations were noted.

ELUSIVE WAY (N. Ganesh) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right shoulder.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b g TENDER ROMANCE.
