Racing Incidents

JAVANICA (A Ashok Kumar) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced DIAMOND FLAME (Valdir De Sousa) at the start.

Jockey A.R. Pradeep, the rider of SEGOMO, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to DIAMOND FLAME (Valdir De Sousa) before passing the red marker post and again approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of SNOW PEAKS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to DIAMOND FLAME (Valdir De Sousa) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres.

DIAMOND FLAME (Valdir De Sousa) lept in the air when checked by its rider to avoid striking the heels of the front runner SNOW PEAKS (J.H. Christopher) approaching the 800 Metres thereby momentarily unbalancing the rider.

Jockey S. Mallikarjun, the rider of PERFECT SPEED, reported that his mount was hanging in after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey T. Bernard, the rider of DECORATED, was fined R.3,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race.
