Racing Incidents
SHADES OF VICTORY (P. UDAY KIRAN) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

            TURF RULER (B. SHANKER) tried to run out from about the 800 metres inspite of the Jockeys efforts.  Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.

            Explanation of Trainer Laxman Singh re: the improved performance of his charge VIJAYS DHARA (GARY CARTER) the winner of this race that in his previous race i.e., in Race No. 11 ridden by App. Harinder Singh when asked for an effort to accelerate in the straight the colt started roaring as such the Apprentice decided not to punish the colt and was very soft in handling him..  The Trainer added that as advised by the Veterinary Officer he had used a  tongue strap on his charge which was very helpful and the colt had shown marked improvement and attributed the colts improved performance to the above.  Taking into consideration the explanation tendered by the Trainer the enquiry opened into the running of VIJAYS DHARA in Race No. 11 has been closed.
