Trainer Mr. B Prithviraj was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for having accepted BALAS GLORY (V R Jagdeesh) to run in the above race without obtaining a Fitness Certificate from the Clubs Veterinary Officer when he had been specifically advised to do so. Subsequently, permission was granted to him to withdraw BALAS GLORY from the above race.

YOURE A LEGEND (Janardhan Paswan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced CITRALI (M Prabhakaran), soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates.

Jockey A R Pradeep, the rider of ANOTHER DESTINY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to FLASH FLARES (M Rajesh Kumar) on his inside, which, in turn, passed it on to ONE IN ALL (R Vaideeshwaran) along the rails; JORIKI (Ladjadj Stephane), which was travelling directly behind also, had to be checked by its rider losing position, approaching the 1000 Metres.

It was reported after the race that FLYING TRICOLOUR (H G Rathod) had apparently lost its left hind shoe during the race.

JORIKI (Ladjad Stephane) sustained cut injury on right hind inside pastern.
