Racing Incidents

Change of rider permitted from Jockey R. Laxmikanth to Jockey Vivek on VALENTINE.

VALENTINE (VIVEK) was extremely fractious inside the stall in the process injured herself as such was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Orders on veterinary grounds. SSC revoked.

Explanation of Jockey B. Shanker (MIDNIGHT BEAUTY) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop at any stage of the race and was also changing legs frequently whereby he could not ride out to complete advantage, noted.  Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.

App. B. Dileep (COMMUNICATE) cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the initial stages of the race.

Jockey Deep Shanker (VIJAYS ROSE) reported that his mount was tending to run out in the final stages of the race more so under pressure.
