Racing Incidents

Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of DEL GRATIA, placed Second by the Judge, objected against Jockey G Y Rajesh Babu, the rider of CALDERA, placed First for, In the last 300 Metres, the winner cut across sharply, whereby I had to stop riding, which cost me a certain race. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined Jockeys Ryan Marshall and G Y Rajesh Babu. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

Jockey G Y Rajesh Babu, the rider of CALDERA, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course, passing the 300 Metres, thereby inconveniencing SARATOGA (K P G Appu) and DEL GRATIA (Ryan Marshall) on his inside.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch f CALDERA.
