INDIAN BRIDE (Narain Singh) jumped out awkwardly from the starting gate thereby dislodging its rider wherein his right stirrup iron entangled and  dragged him for some distance before being the right leg released from the stirrups.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Steward a Stewards enquiry was ordered into  the report  from the Clerk of the Scales that  Jockey Pawan Sharma   the rider of  ZABARDAST  placed 2^ND  by the Judge failed to “weigh in” .The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the  race and interviewed  Jockey Pawan Sharma  and Clerk of the Scales and after hearing their statements, and considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and after due deliberations the Stewards decided to disqualify ZABARDAST from the above race  and revised the order of placings as under:-

PERFECT AFFECT          -   I
TACTIC                             -   II
SERIOUS ATTITUDE      -   III
HARSH VAIBHAV           -   IV

The Stewards directed the Stipendiary Steward to conduct a detail  enquiry into circumstance wherein  Jockey Pawan Sharma the rider of ZABARDAST placed second by the Judge failed to WEIGH IN.
