Racing Incidents
For failing to produce the registered colours at the scale in respect of his charge SKYSCRAPER, Tr. Shafiq Khan was fined a sum of Rs. 325/-, subsequently ‘ALL BLACK’ emergency colours were permitted to be used.
 
br c PETALOID (C Alford) was fractious while being loaded and damaged its stall (No. 8).  Consequently the colt was reloaded in stall No. 14. The colt was impounded for veterinary and analytical examinations as it had raced poorly.  On examination the Veterinary Officer reported that PETALOID had developed stiffness on its hind quarter.  Tr. Vijay Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
 
Approaching the 1000 metres SKYSCRAPER (Asghar) was inconvenienced when OCEAN SUNRISE (S Rabbani) shifted ‘outwards’.  Jockey S Rabbani reported that his mount was inclined to hang ‘out’ till approaching the final 400 metres of the race.  Tr. Bharath Singh was advised to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with his charge again.
