Racing Incidents
Jockey P Kamlesh, the rider of b f APPLE CANDY, when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount stated that the filly was travelling well till approaching the final 400 metres of the race, however, when asked for an effort the filly did not respond.  Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor when questioned regarding the poor performanmce of her charge stated that she was disappointed with the filly’s performance and informed the Stipendiary Stewards that she would not be racing her charge for the remainder of the season and would be subjecting the filly to a thorough veterinary examination.  The filly was impounded for veterinary and analytical examinations.  On immediate examination the Veterinary Officer reported that the filly was trotting sound.
 
The Veterinary Officer reported that ALETRIS returned with a cut injury on its left fore.
