Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw BETTER THAN EVER (N. Tauseef Ahmed) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have a cut injury on forehead. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of DECCAN CHARGERS, reported that his mount was hanging ‘out’ throughout the race and as such, he could not exercise sufficient control over his mount, whereby the horse finished the race on the outer strip of the grass track. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

LANKAN PEARL (Afsar Khan) did not get a clear run, approaching the 1000 Metres due to the crowding of the field.
