Racing Incidents

Jockey G S Shekhawat reported that his mount ASHWA SITARA (G.S Shekhawat) suddenly veered in passing  200 mts of the race nearly bumping NO WORRY (Mohanlal) inspite of his efforts. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary officer reported  no apparent abnormality.

App.Jockey Hashim Ali Khan the rider of ICE ON THE MOON was fined Rs.1000/- for failing to ride as per the instruction of sitting 6th /7th  and in the straight not making sufficient efforts to improve his position, thereby finishing IIIrd.

Trainer Mr.A.Khan and Jockey K.Narender Kumar were called in and questioned regarding the running and riding of MORNING DEVOTION .Not being satisfied with their explanation they were directed to appear before the Stewards and the Stewards deferred the same to their next meeting. The horse  was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s  Veterinary officer reported  no apparent abnormality.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner QUEENS TOUCH  in the presence of Trainer Mr.Ajay Sharma and sent for Analytical test.
