Racing Incidents

 

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Samar Singh to withdraw ANGAD (R Vaibhav) as it refused to get into the horse float for travelling from Bangalore to Mysore.
 
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey Franco F Da Silva to ride ANGEL QUEEN in place of Jockey J.H. Christopher the declared rider.
 
Jockey R Anand, the rider of HEART OF GOLD, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming ‘in’ and causing interference to MOUNTAIN STORM (Mudassar Nazar)on his inside approaching the 1100 Metres and again, for shifting ‘out’ and causing interference to STATELY DANCE (M Ravi) on his outside, passing the 800 Metres.
 
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of WAR ARTIST to the Stewards for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading “use of whips” in that he excessively used the whip on his mount WAR ARTIST (fourth infringement) in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 28th September 2012 and examined
Jockey M. Noornabi. After deliberations, they decided to withdraw the whip of Jockey M. Noornabi with effect from 29-9-2012 to 21-10-2012 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading “use of whips” in that he excessively used the whip on his mount WAR ARTIST (fourth infringement) in the above race.
