SUMANGALA (Sk Zaffar Riaz) and DANCE IN CHINA (Afzal Khan) were slow to begin.

SREENIDHI (App Zarar Alam) which was fractious in its stall reared up as the start was affected thereby losing some ground.  Trainer Patrick Quinn was advised to give his charge adequate grate practice before accepting it again.

Approaching the distance post THRICE BLESSSED (J K Prasad) was inconvenienced when APICAL FINALA shifted outwards.  At a subsequent enquiry Jockey I Khan, the rider of APICAL FINALA was shown the CCTV replay of the race and severely reprimanded for shifting ground and was advised to report to Jockey Coach Mr. P. Alford for corrective measures.

Immediately after the running of the race a Stipendiary Stewards’ enquiry was held with particular reference to the fall of b c JUGNI STATE (Mohit Singh) approaching the distance post.  At the conclusion of the enquiry, the Stipendiary Stewards were satisfied that the fall was accidental, in that JUGNI STATE ran into the heels of THRICE BLESSED ( App J K Prasad) and fell, as no blame could be attached to any Jockey, the all clear signal was hoisted.
