Explanation of Jockey K. Anil (PROOF) that his instructions were to sit 3^rd or 4^th but as his mount stumbled immediately after the start as also due to the fast initial pace he was unable to position his mount as instructed and thereafter in the straight his mount did not show any turn of foot inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer R.H. Sequeira while confirming the above added that the gelding had lost his right fore shoe during the race which had been to his disadvantage as such the poor performance, noted.  Subsequent veterinary examination revealed that though the gelding was trotting sound had lost his right fore shoe.

App. G. Sai Vamshi (GUIDING LIGHT) was severely reprimanded in the presence of Trainer M.V. Narayana Rao for failing to follow the given instructions in that he allowed his mount to travel with the leaders instead of making his challenge from mid bunch as instructed.

App. Kuldeep Singh (ALBERTON STAR) reported that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts.  Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju was advised to take remedial measures before next acceptance.
