b g SANGOMA (Imran Chisty) was very fractious in its stall and ducked out under the gates.  Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.  The Starting stall certificate of the gelding has been revoked by the Starter.

Immediately after running of the race the following objections were lodged :-

1. Jockey C Alford, the rider of ARACELI, placed 2^nd by the Judge against Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of RISKY BUSINESS placed 1^st by the Judge on the grounds of “taking my ground in the final 75 metres, causing me to check my mount and momentarily stop riding which cost me a certain race”.
2. Jockey Shailesh Shinde, the rider of ACCREWS, placed 3^rd by the Judge against Jockey C Alford, the rider of ARACELI, placed 2^nd by the Judge, on the grounds of “taking my ground from about the 75 metres and I had to check my mount and riding which cost me a certain race”.

The Stewards after having interviewed Jockeys C Alford, Vinay Jaiswal and Shailesh Shinde resolved to over rule both the objections and ordered that the Judge’s placings to remain unaltered.
