Racing Incidents

b g ROYAL SAGA declared to run in above race was examined by the Veterinary Officer in the morning of Friday, 1st March, 2013 and found to be lame on left fore.  Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.  Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Jockey B Sreekanth, the rider of b g OUR CHIEFTAIN, which was inconvenienced approaching the 900 metres due to the crowding of the field reported that the saddle on his mount slipped back during the concluding stages of the race, as such, thereafter he was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage.  Tr. D M David was fined a sum of Rs. 500/- for faulty saddling.

Approaching the 900 metres SNOW BALL (Martin J Dwyer) racing fiercely was repeatedly checked by its rider to avoid running into the heels of the front runners.

RED PASSION (Vinay Jaiswal) under pressure drifted to the outer portion of the race track during the concluding stages of the race.
