Racing Incidents

CIDER WITH ROSIE (App Rajesh Ujgare), DON MAGNIFICO (I Khan) and AZORIAN (B Gurang) were slow to begin.

MISS WATERMELON (Md. Imran) was eased to a stop by its rider passing the 400 metres.  On veterinarmy examination the mare was found to be lame on left fore.  Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

The Veterinary Officer reported that ch f REWARDING returned bleeding from both nostrils.  Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Jockey I Khan, the rider of DON MAGNIFICO, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive use of the whip (1st offence) on his mount.

Jockeys Surjeet Singh, the rider of SREEYANTRA and Shezad Khan, the rider of SONGSTRESS, reported loss of their whips approaching the 300 and 100 metres markers respectively.  Further, the Stipendiary Stewards fined Jockey Shezad Khan a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for the repeated loss of his whip during the races.
