SNOW BALL (App Zarar Alam) was fractious in its stall.

SNOW BALL (App Zarar Alam) momentarily stumbled soon after the start.

At an enquiry held by the Stipendiary Stewards into the running of dk b c SNOW BALL, Tr. Patrick Quinn when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his charge stated that he had instructed the apprentice to place his mount in 3^rd or 4^th position in the early and middle stages of the race.  However, unfortunately due to the early fast pace of the race the apprentice was unable to follow his instructions as the colt seemed to lack early speed and that overall he was of the opinion that his charge currently was short of total fitness.  App Zarar Alam when questioned corroborated the instructions of the trainer and  added that throughout the running of the race his leg was not well positioned in the stirrup iron and as such he was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage.  The Stipendiary Stewards informed both the trainer and the apprentice to ensure that in future they must discharge their duties in such a manner that leaves no room for query.
