SHINING FAME (D Gnaneshwar) fell while saddling and sustained multiple injuries. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

MAGNIFIQUE (Shiva Kumar) jumped awkwardly inwards and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

Jockey S Mallikarjun, the rider of BEAUTIFUL LANKAN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not exercising sufficient control over his mount under the use of the whip thereby allowing it to drift 'in' and brush the false rails, passing the 400 Metres,  as a result of which he got unbalanced and both his legs came out of the stirrups and he could not offer any
assistance to his mount thereafter.

Jockey A Ashok Kumar, the rider of ALL CLEAR, was reprimanded for not improving position during the early stages of the Race.

BEAUTIFUL LANKAN (S Mallikarjun) sustained bleeding cut injury on right shoulder.

It was reported after the Race that the right hind shoe of DASHING BOY (A R Pradeep) had apparently come off during the Race.
