Racing Incidents

At the request of Trainer S.S.Shah, BORN FOR GLORY was examined at 1000 hours on 24/08/2013 and found to have an injury on the inside of the right fore arm, as such, the colt was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a Fitness Certificate for the colt from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

On the way to the start, DOMINGO (Dashrath Singh) dislodged the rider and bolted towards the winning post. After consent from the trainer, the gelding was withdrawn from the race before coming under the Starter’s order. After the race, DOMINGO was observed to have lost its right fore shoe

Jockey A Ashhad Asbar (FLEETWOOD MAC) reported that his mount lugged out while negotiating the bend. Trainer S.K.Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

After the race FLEETWOOD MAC was found to be sound.
