LAW LORD (Surjeet Singh) arrived late at the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race.  Tr. FA Rodrigues (Jr) was advised to ensure that his charges arrive to the start on time.

CRINA (Mohit Singh) was very fractious while being stalled.  In view of its behaviour Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge again until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

BLACK CAVIOUR (B Mahesh) and SARTAJ (App Arman Khan) were slow to begin.

Approaching the 1000 metres SARTAJ (App Arman Khan) travelling along the rails shifted violently ‘outwards’ causing severe interference to LAW LORD (Surjeet Singh) who in turn went on to BLACK CAVIOUR (B Mahesh).  At a subsequent enquiry App Arman Khan was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for shifting ground when not adequately clear of the other runners and advised to report to Jockey Coach Mr. P Alford for counseling.

Jockey C Alford, the rider of MASSACHUSETTES, was reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.
