Racing Incidents

Jockey S. Sreekant (EQUALIZER) was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in, in the initial stages of the race in the process causing interference to CHOCOLATE SOLDIER (N. Ravinder Singh).

Explanation of Jockey M. Mark (FAIRY EMPEROR) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted.

Explanation of Jockey Suraj Narredu (LIGHT BLUE SKY) that his mount did not show any interest in the race inspite of his best efforts.   Trainer S.A. Shehzad Abbas while confirming the above added that his mount was running after a long gap of about 3 months and also running for the first time on the winter track.  The trainer further opined that his mount might not have liked the underfoot conditions of the track, as such the dismal performance.  Both jockey and trainers’ explanations were noted for future reference.
