SET SAIL (Kishore Kadam) was fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.  The Starting Stall Certificate of the gelding has been revoked by the Starter.

ROCKET BALL (App Md. Azharuddin) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ from the gates and thereafter did not raise a fluent gallop for some distance.  In view of its behaviour Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

RAJNISE (M F Ali Khan) which trailed the field was observed to keep an erratic course during the early and middle stages of the race.  In view of its performance Tr. C Gleich was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.
