FLYING BOY (App Jorawar Singh), COMBINED OPERATION (Sandeep Rajput) and SMOKEY BABA (Shezad Khan) were slow to begin.

HEAD HUNTER (Md Islam) and DEVIL IN DISGUISE (Mohit Singh) under pressure drifted to the outer portion of the race track passing the distance post.

Jockey C Alford, the rider of FERVENT QUEST, reported that when in the lead and on entering the straight the filly was inclined to ‘hang out’ and failed to accelerate when called upon.  Tr. Vijay Singh when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his charge stated that he would take corrective measures to ensure that the filly would keep a straight course in future and henceforth he would be instructing the riders to position the filly ‘off’ the early pace of the race till entering the straight.  The Stipendiary Stewards while noting the trainer’s explanation brought to his and the jockey’s notice that on a number of occasions it is recorded that the rider inspite of his best efforts has had a difficulty in keeping some of his charges on a straight course and should the jockey in future continue to experience this difficulty appropriate action would be initiated by the Stipendiary Stewards.

Jockey Md. Islam, the rider of HEAD HUNTER, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip (1^st offence).

Jockey Nelson Maseyk, the rider of RIVERDOWN EMPRESS, was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip (2^nd offence).

The Veterinary Officer reported that DANCEHALL DAYS returned with cut injuries on both hind.
