Racing Incidents

Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, KOLAVERI DI (J H Christopher). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.

Jockey J H Christopher, the rider of KOLAVERI DI, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that the horse had returned stiff on both fore. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the Race that ASTOUNDING GALLOP (S Mubarak) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. R Mallikarjuna was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
