Racing Incidents

At the start, TRANCE (J.H.Christopher) tried to veer outwards.

Approaching 1000 metres, RUNNING SUN (T.S.Jodha) shifted in and tightened KNIGHT OF KE (P.Trevor) and then took the running of the latter and after taking the lead, slowed down the pace thereby further hampering the running of KNIGHT OF KE. Jockey T.S.Jodha has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

TRANCE (J.H.Christopher) lugged out in the final 200 metres and went across BARRINGO (App.Yash Narredu). Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

After the race, KNIGHT OF KE was observed to have broken a blood vessel. Being a second time bleeder, the gelding is not to race for the stipulated ban period of eight weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

The Sr.V.O. reported that  RUNNING SUN was examined at the stables in the morning on 21/04/2014 and found to be sound.
