Racing Incidents

Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the declared rider of RARE AND ELLUSIVE was fined Rs.2,000/- for not drawing the declared weight at the scales in the above race.  Subsequently permission was granted to Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj to substitute Jockey Arshad Alam to ride RARE AND ELLUSIVE in place of Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the declared rider.

Jockey J.H. Christopher, the rider of REPUBLICAN STAR, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

DANCING LAURIE (A. Ashok Kumar) sustained cut injury on left nostril.

MYSTICAL SHADOW (P. Kiran Rai) sustained gum injury.

RARE AND ELLUSIVE (Arshad Alam) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.
