Trainer Mr. J. Sharavanan was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for failing to declare his charge HALIA to start for the above race after having accepted with it.

During the running of the race the riderless FORTALEZA inconvenienced GODSPEED (Suraj Narredu) and CULEBRA (P S Chouhan) shortly after the start, NURAY (Y S Srinath) checked from FORTALEZA which moved in as a result TIGER TOPS (S Zervan) checked and moved wider on the track covering extra ground.

Near 1500 Metres ALEXANDRA MILLS (Imran Chity), TIGER TOPS (S Zervan) and VENCEDORA (S John) were buffeted.

Near the 850 Metres OBELINNA PRINCESS (D Gnaneshwar) steadied from WEST SIDE STORY (Shailesh Shinde) as a result MAISHA (D K Ashish) was eased losing ground.

MAISHA (D K Ashish) shifted out over the concluding stages of the race.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards held an enquiry into the start of the race and after deliberations they decided to declare FORTALEZA (Deep Shanker) as a non starter.

NURAY (Y.S. Srinath) sustained cut injury on right fore cannon.

Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the I, II and III placed horses viz:
