Racing Incidents

Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge FLEET STREET (Neeral Rawal). Subsequently 'all black' emergency colours were permitted to be used.

Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of ROYAL DEFENCE, reported that his mount stopped galloping after he received an interference approaching the 1200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars on both sides. Hence Trainer Mr. S. Britto was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence (1st infringement).

Near the 1200 Metres, FLEET STREET (Neeraj Rawal) shied away inwards from SMOKING BELL (Suraj Narredu) causing ROYAL DEFENCE (M. Prabhakaran) and DEEPALIKA (R. Anand) to check losing ground and thereafter ROYAL DEFENCE (M. Prabhakaran) ran detached from the field.

At the 300 Metres HIS HIGHNESS (D K Ashish) and SWITCH (B Harish) brushed.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f SMOKING BELL.
