Racing Incidents

Explanation of Jockey Imran Chisty (SHEER GENIUS) that his instructions were to go to the front which he tried to follow until entering into straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the gelding shortened his strides in the final 400 mtrs and dropped back.  Trainer while confirming the above added that he was running for the first time after operation Tie forward was noted for future reference.

Jockeys Kuldeep Singh (ELENOR) and S. Sreekant (VOCATION) were cautioned for failing to position their mounts to advantage in the initial stages of the race.

Jockey N. Ravinder Singh (POWER DRIVE) was fined Rs. 1,000/- for shifting in at about the 300 mtrs in the process forcing in BLACK BOLT (N. Rawal).
