Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi to withdraw STRIKING on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on right fore due to inflamed hoof.  He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

At the start RIDGEWAY (S John) threw its head in the next stall as the Starter released the field losing ground.

SUN KINGDOM (Bhawani Singh) & SOUTHERN EMPEROR (J.H. Christopher) were slowly away.

Near the 800 Metres WINSTON (Ryan Marshall) steadied from ETHOPHIAN (M Rajesh Kumar) which shifted in slightly.

FIELD MARSHAL (A. Sandesh) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.

MOUNTAIN RANGE (Saddam Hussain) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon.

Reporting Jockey J H Christopher, the rider of SOUTHERN EMPEROR to the Stewards for Unsatisfactory riding, Rule No. 161 (ii) of the BTC Rules of Racing in the above race.
