Racing Incidents

At the request of Trainer Bezan Chenoy, CONGRESSIONAL was examined at 1030 hours on 23rd August, 2014 and was found to have an injury on the right fore knee, cannon and hock and was sore by the right fore leg as the gelding was cast in the stables. As such, CONGRESSIONAL was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

ZADORA (D.K.Ashish) was reluctant to reach the starting point. Trainer M.Narredu) has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

ASHRAFIE (T.S.Jodha) hung-out in the straight thereby placing its rider at a disadvantage. Trainer Sanjay Kolse has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

Passing 600 metres, VISION OF ROMANCE (Dashrath Singh) shifted out to make its move and made contact with SPIDER MAN (Y.S.Srinath). Jockey Dashrath Singh has been fined Rs.5,000/- and severely cautioned for the future.

The saddle on ZADORA (D.K.Ashish) was observed to have slipped forward during the race. Trainer M.Narredu has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

After the race, ASHRAFIE was found to be sound.

WAR MACHINE (J.H.Christopher) was placed fifth and ASHRAFIE (T.S.Jodha) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
