Racing Incidents

On arrival at the start, it was observed that MOUNTAIN SONG (S.P.Ranjane) had lost its left fore plate. As per the norms, the mare was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order.

At the start, MY FREEDOM (D.K.Ashish) reared up and was slow to begin.

Soon after the start, PEPPERCORN (S.Sunil) shifted-in, due to which BEAU ROYALE (J.E.Pereira) shied away and shifted-in. Shortly thereafter, PEPPERCORN took the running of BEAU ROYALE. Jockey S.Sunil has been fined Rs.1,000/-.

Near 600 metres, LOCARNO (App.K.N.Bhati) was steadied while racing on the inside of MISS MIRACLE (App.Bhawani Singh) who had shifted in at that stage. App.Bhawani Singh has been cautioned.

App.K.N.Bhati (LOCARNO) has been cautioned for allowing his mount to shift-in in the middle stages of the race.

The Sr.V.O. reported that BEAU ROYALE was examined at the stables on 25/08/2014 and was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

After the race, PEPPERCORN was found to be sound.
