Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to withdraw INDICATION (A Velu) on veterinary grounds as it was trotting lame on right fore due to infected cellulitis at pastern. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer of the Club before accepting with it again.

As Jockey Himanshu, the declared rider of COFFEE TIME, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to substitute Jockey Melvyn Maseyk to ride COFFEE TIME in place of the declared rider.

MAHIKI (S R Santosh Kumar) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day.

Jockey T S Jodha, the rider of JET SET GO, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent Race.

Jockey B Nayak, the rider of ARZIKI, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not making sufficient effort to improve his position till rounding the final bend.

Jockey A Ramu, the rider of DELILAH, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race [second infringement].

It was reported after the Race that COFFEE TIME (Melvyn Maseyk) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must produce

a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
