Racing Incidents

Consequent to Jockey B. Dileep having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Deep Shanker to be substituted on SHIMMERING ICE.

Consequent to Jockey Kuldeep Singh having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey P. Sai Kumar to be substituted on MONTAUK.

MONTAUK (P. Sai Kumar) was examined at the gates and was observed to be trotting lame on his right fore, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders.

FIELD COMMANDER (App. Ajit Singh) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.  Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

MACINTOSH (N. Ravinder Singh) jumped out awkwardly losing about 1 or 2 lengths and thereafter trailed the field throughout the race.

Jockey Deep Shanker (SHIMMERING ICE) was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting in while negotiating the final bend in the process causing interference to MIDNIGHT IN PARIS (Suraj Narredu).
