SREEPUTRA (S Zervaan) and FRUIT ‘N’ NUT (App Nikhil) arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceeding of the race. Trs. Patrick Quinn and D Karki were advised to ensure that their charges arrive in time to the start in future.

LE CHOCOLAT (Md Sameer) was fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate of the filly has been revoked by the Starter.

SWEET SUSPENSE (App Hindu Singh) was fractious in its stall.

I ME N MYSELF (Gajender Singh) was slow to begin.

BABY COME BACK (N S Parmar) was slow to begin losing approximately four lengths at the start and thereafter trailed the field home. Tr. Sarfaraz Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

Jockey Gajender Singh(I ME N MYSELF) when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount stated that he was instructed to place his mount in 3rd/4th position in the early stages of the race, however, in spite of his efforts he was unable to obtain the instructed position and that in his opinion the filly did not have early speed to be placed as was instructed. Tr Mr Vikash Jaiswal corroborated the instructions as stated by the jockey but expressed surprise at the filly being positioned at the rear end of the field. The Stipendiary Stewards decided to enquire further into the matter.
