Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.Magan Singh to substitute Jockey Gurpreet Singh to ride STORM AWAY in place of Jockey Pawan Sharma the declared rider.

NIZBATI PRINCE (Ramandeep Singh Bal) after being loaded was very fractious and forced opened the front shutter whereby the Jockey got unbalanced and was dislodged from his mount and galloped riderless. As such it was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. In consequence of NIZBATI PRINCE being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders no deduction on Win bets and 20% on place bets was effected.

The saddle used on RIOS QUEEN (Sameer Khan) was observed to have shifted back from 900 mts of the race and thereafter the jockey could not offer sufficient assistance to his mount. The equipment was checked immediately after the race. Trainer Richpal Singh was fined Rs.2000/- for the faulty saddling on his charge RIOS QUEEN (1st offence)
