Racing Incidents

Permission has been granted to Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh to saddle BATTLE CRY (P. Uday Kiran) on behalf of Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy at both Trainers’ risk and liability.

KOHINOOR FLASH (N. Ravinder Singh) got stuck in the stalls after being loaded, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders, SSC revoked.

PROFESSOR (M.F. Ali Khan) got stuck under the front gate of the stalls while loading, as such the gelding permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters’ order, SSC revoked.

Jockey S. Sreekant (ZENSATIONAL) was fined Rs.3000/- for shifting in soon after the start causing interference to KALINDA (Beuzelin Louis) and SKETCH OF BEAUTY (P. Ajeeth Kumar).

Jockey Aneel (WINE N DINE) was fined Rs.2000/- for cutting across the field soon after the start crowding the runners drawn on his inside for no apparent reason.

STAR POWER (David Bruex) was pulled up at about the 200 mtrs, in the process dislodging the Jockey.  The Jockey who was given immediate medical aid escaped unhurt. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was walking lame on his right fore due to fracture of humerus.

BATTLE CRY (P. Uday Kiran) trailed the field throughout the race.  Trainer M. Srinvas Reddy was advised to ensure that his charge is capable of running with the field in future.
