A Stewards enquiry was called immediately after the running of this race in to the interference caused by YET ANOTHER (App. Akshay Kumar) to ASTON DOULTON (Suraj Narredu) in the final 200 mtrs.  Further, an objection was also lodged by Mr. K.S.V. Prasad Raju, Trainer of ASTON DOULTON (Suraj Narredu) placed 5th by the Judge against App. Akshay Kumar (YET ANOTHER) placed 2nd that” the App. took my horse out from about the 400 mtrs to the outer railing where by my Jockey could not ride out my mount and lost control where by he lost a certain race”.   The Stewards having enquired into the above, resolved to upheld the objection lodged by Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju and disqualify YET ANOTHER from the 2nd place and ordered revised placings as under:

3.         GLOBETROTTER             (Deep Shanker)                                    Placed third
4.          ASTON DOULTON             (Suraj Narredu)                                    Placed fourth
5.          DOLCE                         (App. K. Mukesh Kumar)              Placed fifth
6.          ARREY O SAMBA             (P. Uday Kiran)                            Placed sixth

Further, the Stewards resolved to suspend App. Akshay Kumar (YET ANOTHER) from riding in races w.e.f.  4th February to 10th February 2014, both days inclusive for careless riding.

The App. is however permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.

The Trainer S.S.F. Hassan was advised to show his charge YET ANOTHER in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting in a race.

GOLDIE (M.F. Ali Khan), NOBLE HEIGHTS (N. Rawal) and GOLDEN HAWK (P. Ajeeth Kumar) trailed the field throughout the race.  Respective Trainers L.D’Silva, K.S.V. Prasad Raju and Sk. Kassam were advised for better performance in future.
